Understanding RoHS
The EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) framework limits certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The current EU framework restricts ten substances, subject to product scope, concentration limits, and applicable exemptions.
Our role as a distributor
CXDA does not manufacture the components listed on this website. RoHS status is based on information made available by the manufacturer or supplier for the specific part, revision, and production conditions. A general product-family statement should not replace part-specific verification.
Information available on request
- Manufacturer or supplier RoHS declarations, where available.
- Part-specific compliance status quoted with the relevant manufacturer part number.
- Supporting packaging, date-code, or traceability information where it forms part of the quotation.
How to request documentation
Include the manufacturer part number, quantity, destination market, required RoHS version, and any customer-specific format in your RFQ. Our team will confirm which documents can be supplied before the order is finalised.
Important limitation
Compliance status can change and exemptions may apply. Customers remain responsible for confirming that the selected component and finished product meet the rules applicable to their market and intended use.
